KL:
Have you had many ghost experiences there?
NG: Yeah, I could have sworn I saw one of the
guards one night. Sitting on the sea wall, I thought
I saw someone in the corner of my eye. I looked
and it kinda slowly disappeared.
KL:
Do you have a mentor?
NG: Plenty. I think Colleen
Hanley is one of my biggest mentors, as far
as inspiring me to pursue photography.
KL:
Why do you think Florida breeds such ripper shredder
surfers?
NG: Cause they're so surf starved that when they
actually get a wave, they're like "I'm gonna
kill it!" You can stay out for hours and
hours, it's so easy. Small waves are the hardest
things to surf, you have to generate your own
speed and really read the wave. And you know,
hurricane season probably has something to do
with it, we get some decent size waves.
KL:
Shout outs?
NG: Kristin Wilson, Izzy Brailey, Moms, Colleen
Hanley.
