KL:
What's next for Ms. Meador?
KM: I'm actually home for a while, so I'm stoked.
I'll just be surfing and training my butt off.
Then in March I'm off to Oz for a Roxy longboard
comp.
KL:
What kind of training?
KM: I have a trainer who I work out with once
a week. And then one or twice a week I'll work
out on my own. And you know, I'll stretch or do
yoga, just anything to help keep me in shape.
Surfing tons and tons is good, but as a professional
athlete I think it's necessary to do other things
to stay in the best shape, so you can surf for
4 hours and not be tired.
KL:
Alright, last question, you have any hidden talents
you want to share with us?
KM: Hmmm, I'm not too talented in a lot of other
respects I always wished I could do that thing
with my tongue, or roll it or whatever, but no.
I'm pretty much a klutz, but that's more of a
curse than a talent.
KL:
That's hard to believe. Any hollers?
KM: Just shout out to my homies, and you know,
Roxy and Red Bull and Gravis and Donald Takyama.
My friends at Igg, Dan Eagen and the guys over
at FCS, yeeaah guys.
KL:
Radical. Thanks for your time. We're stoked to
highlight you on JettyGirl.
KM: Thank you. See you in the water.
