KL:
What's the coldest place you've ever been??
KM: Chile, it was freaking cold.
KL:
Snowing cold?
KM: It wasn't snowing, but it was almost like
you wished it was, cause then maybe there would
have been some clouds and it would have been warmer.
You know, like I've surfed in Scotland, and Canada,
and that was cold, but Chile was just ridiculous.
It was beautiful and there were some good waves,
but it was almost like you couldn't surf, it was
too cold. I needed a 5/4 and had to borrow booties,
even though I hate them more than anything. I
wished I had a dry suit.
KL:
Are you a religious or spiritual person?
KM: Well, I was raised going to a catholic school,
so that was kinda funny. I believe in a higher
power, but not necessarily Catholicism. I think
it's just like, nature, you know? So yeah, I'm
spiritual, but not really by the book.
KL:
What do think happens to us after we die?
KM: I believe in reincarnation, for sure. So I
think we're reincarnated.
KL:
What do you hope to come back as?
KM: I want to come back as another surfer! 'Cause
it’s fun… Or a dolphin so I can be
surfing all the time and not get cold.
KL:
What do you think you maybe were in past lives?
KM: I don't know, I went and saw Cirque du Soleil
once and I thought I was an acrobat in my past
life. I was like 'dude, I bet I did that! And
that's why I'm afraid of heights now; I probably
fell off the trapeze!'
KL:
What was the last fight you were in?
KM: Hmmm, I'm a pretty passive person… but
probably in the water at Malibu. That's why I
hate that place. I mean, I love it, but I hate
it. It's the best of times and the worst of times.
I had to get out of there.
