Surfet Saltwater Sweetheart Board Fest, February 14, 2009

Cocoa Beach, Florida. The inaugural edition of the Surfet Saltwater Sweetheart Board Fest amiably happens this Valentines Day, Saturday, February 14th, 2009 hosted at Coconuts on the Beach and the Cocoa Beach Skate Park. Beginning at 8am, the line up includes Women and Girls Professional Surfing plus amateur divisions sanctioned by the AAU, Tandem Team, and Dudes in Drag, Kids Sandcastle building contest and beach games. Starting at 6pm the Cocoa Beach Skate Park will open for the Girls Free Skate Session featuring Lea Taylor and music with DJ Longneck. This Surf and Skate celebration benefits The Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) a non-profit, youth-focused education, awareness, and fundraising foundation. The mission is to increase awareness about Breast Cancer, the importance of early detection and the value of an active life style.
