Billabong has created the ultimate, girls-only travel experience in the tropical paradise of Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. Designed specifically for women, this surf trip will spoil you with daily surf instruction, yoga, and healthy cuisine in the gorgeous, bohemian setting of Blue Surf Sanctuary, just a few yards from what Forbes magazine has termed, "…one of the top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world."

Situated on the Pacific Coast of the southern tip of the Nicoya peninsula, Santa Teresa is quickly becoming the new, hot-spot with the occasional celebrity sighting; yet it's one of the few locations in Costa that retains its authentic vibe. As you can imagine, the cool bars, phenomenal restaurants, white sand beaches and warm water only accent an already truly magical destination.

Your week with Billabong will feature daily hands-on surf instruction and coaching, by Tara Angioletti, owner of Girls Gone Surfing Maui, with an evening recap and planning for the next day's session. Beyond that, the Mal Pais region has much to offer; you can: hike the waterfalls, snorkel, ride horses, explore the tropical country side on quads, take a zip line canopy tour, participate in yoga classes, learn the art of the organic facial, or just chill by the pool. And, like any great girls' getaway there will be spa services that can be ordered separately and performed in the comfort of your own bungalow.

The Billabong trip is an exclusive offering, limited to 12 surfers, and is geared for surfers from beginners on up who are just learning or looking to take their surfing to the next level. The minimum age for the camp is 16, but younger campers may be accepted with a chaperone. However, there is no target age group and adults of any age are encouraged to attend. Overall, the trip is laidback and loosely structured, so you can do as much or as little as you like to get the maximum benefit from your week in paradise.
