/ Roxy Summer Surf Camp
The Girls in the Curl / Roxy Summer Surf Camp
is held at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, CA.
Roxy surf camps are designed for beginners and
intermediate to advanced level surfers. Participants
are worked with on an individual basis according
to their own abilities and goals for the week.
This camp will allow participants to tune up surfing
abilities and learn proper wave judgment and surfing
techniques from knowledgeable and patient instructors.
There will be strong emphasis on water safety
and ocean awareness. Beginners start riding on
modern soft longboards in smaller surf learning
the basic elements and building confidence while
having fun.
Participant must be a swimmer
and confident in the ocean. We will supply surfboards
if needed. Cold drinks are provided. We ask that
you pre-register and pre-pay upon sign up so you
are guaranteed a spot. Space is limited.

We have been providing quality surfing instruction
in California and Hawaii for the past 22 years.
Our surfing school is insured and all instructors
are trained in CPR, First Aid, Water Safety and
Fun. We specialize in youth classes and also teach
clinics and private lessons for women, special
occasions, and Birthday Parties. We provide patient
professional instruction, excellent equipment
and the best waves possible. Rental boards are
available.

Every Friday is surf contest
day - all participants show up at 8:00am contest
and award ceremony over by noon.
