dollar check arrives in your mailbox with a
note that reads, "Half of this amount is
yours and the other half is to benefit the world
around you." How would you spend the money?
Serena Brooke:
I would spend my half on travel/real estate
and the other half on charities in Africa.
JG: Describe the best surfboard
you've ever ridden and why it was special to
you.
Serena: It was
a Rick Hamon Rusty board. It just did everything
I wanted it to ...wherever you stood it was
the sweet spot plus it had tons of speed!
JG: If you could travel
back to any time in history and hang with one
person while they go about their daily activities,
who would it be and why?
Serena: Probably
Einstein. It would be great to speak with him
and understand how his brain worked!
JG: For thirty days you're
stuck on a desert island with one book, one
song, one surf movie and one snack food. Which
ones would you choose?
Serena: Conversations
with God. Down Under. Mad
Wax. Cheese and crackers for food.
JG: What is your best surf-related
memory of 2009?
Serena: Cloud 9
in the Philippines ...getting shacked and winning
the comp there ...it was fun!
