JettyGirl: A one million
dollar check arrives in your mailbox with a
note that reads, "Half of this amount is
yours and the other half is to benefit the world
around you." How would you spend the money?
Sarah Baum: I would
try to save as much money as I can for my travels
and fly first class every where I go.
JG: Describe the best surfboard
you've ever ridden and why it was special to
you.
Sarah: The best
board I ever rode was one Elton from Bilt made
me earlier this year. It was a 5'7" and
I don't know what he did to it but it just went
so good for me.
JG: If you could travel
back to any time in history and hang with one
person while they go about their daily activities,
who would it be and why?
Sarah: It would
be my dad and me back in Bali. My dad always
gets on my nerves but after all he is a pretty
cool guy.
JG: For thirty days you're
stuck on a desert island with one book, one
song, one surf movie and one snack food. Which
ones would you choose?
Sarah: I don't
really read books so maybe I would take a Tracks
Magazine, Fireflies by Owl City, Stranger
Than Fiction, Oreos.
JG: What is your best surf-related
memory of 2009?
Sarah: One day
I was just sitting in the water with some of
my best friends and my family that's what I
love most about surfing.
