around you." How would you spend the money?
Chloe Buckley:
My half: Get my brother a car, go to the Telo
Islands, and the rest goes into my college account.
World's half: Donate to SurfAid and breast cancer
research.
JG: Describe the best surfboard
you've ever ridden and why it was special to
you.
Chloe: My new Rusty
is so fun, works really well with my Future
Fins and in all kinds of conditions. Its smaller
than usual. I've had the best days on it.
JG: If you could travel
back to any time in history and hang with one
person while they go about their daily activities,
who would it be and why?
Chloe: Heath Ledger's
talent was incredible and I would love to see
more of him.
JG: For thirty days you're
stuck on a desert island with one book, one
song, one surf movie and one snack food. Which
ones would you choose?
Chloe: Harry
Potter, Gimme Shelter by The Rolling
Stones, Secret Machine, Hot Wings.
JG: What is your best surf-related
memory of 2009?
Chloe: Taking out
foamy long boards at 15th street Del Mar on
a 3-4 foot day in the middle of summer with
my little sister and friend. We were goofing
around on them jumping on each other's boards
or just each other. It was so hot out, the picture
perfect summer day!
