Jenna Balester and Sara Taylor are two of the funniest people I know. Whenever I have the opportunity to shoot with them, I know I'm guaranteed of a sore stomach later in the day from laughing so much. Their tendency for deep sarcasm and dry wit, coupled with their sudden need for girl on girl sand fights makes for a fun crew to hang with. Humor aside, both of these Huntington Beach locals rip in the water as well. Jenna possesses a quick, down-the-line style that she punctuates with strong hacks and a really aggressive forehand snap. Sara's surfing mixes in an eye-pleasing blend of old and new with her fin throws and lip blasts being well-balanced by a bagful of old-school 360s and masterful positioning in the barrel.

Why post up an ASP "Preview" in the middle of the season? Good question. A series of illnesses, mishaps, and international wanderings kept us from getting this together in the beginning of the season so here it is ...better late than never ;) -Chris Grant
