JettyGirl: A one million
dollar check arrives in your mailbox with a
note that reads, "Half of this amount is
yours and the other half is to benefit the world
around you." How would you spend the money?
Amy Nicholl: I
would buy myself an eco-friendly house and car,
and for charity give the money to the UN food
program so children would not go hungry.
JG: Describe the best surfboard
you've ever ridden and why it was special to
you.
AN: My 9'0'' Stewart
epoxy longboard. It glides so well and I have
the most fun on it!
JG: If you could travel
back to any time in history and hang with one
person while they go about their daily activities,
who would it be and why?
AN: I would go
back into my family history and hang with my
relatives who were Cherokee Indians. I'm really
proud of that heritage.
JG: For thirty days you're
stuck on a desert island with one book, one
song, one surf movie and one snack food. Which
ones would you choose?
AN: Tolstoy's famous
book Anna Karenina, Lady Gaga's Just
Dance, Momentum, and for num nums
some ice cold ice cream!
JG: What is your best surf-related
memory of 2009?
AN: Winning NSSA
