Whilst in the men’s competition, everyone knows Kelly plays this head game with his fellow competitors. Bartels isn’t playing, she just IS completely unpredictable ...so much so that even her staunchest competitors love it when she is showing up and blowing up, leaving them in her wake. The Billabong girls’ event in Brazil last year, which some are calling the best ever heat surfed by female surfers, that Bartels won…makes my statement more so a fact.
