has been surfing since she was 4, so although
18 is young to be on the WCT tour, in the
scheme of Alana’s surfing life, she
is more than ready. This fluid surfer from
Kauai has had the Irons brothers to model
herself on as well as Rochelle and Keala.
2009 is her rookie year on tour as well
and I think she will feel her way in at
the start of the year and then complete
the year with some strong finishes in places
she is more comfortable in, like home, Hawaii
