melanie redman carr Melanie Redman-Carr, Australia

2008 will be an interesting year for Melanie. Surfing pregnant and requalifying is testament to Melanie’s exceptional talent, focus and tenacity. Most female athletes come from pregnancy enhanced physically, mentally and emotionally. I am wondering how this will affect this Western Australian anomaly. The only thing predictable about Melanie’s personality and life is her competitive results. She may have both hands full by the end of 2008, baby in one and world title cup in the other!
