stephanie gilmore Stephanie Gilmore, Australia

A touted surf prodigy that has lived up to all expectations and more. No delays. No time lapses. No WCT “settling in” period as other teen wonders have needed or claimed. Stephanie arrived on the WCT number ONE. The other girls expected this and I would say in their deepest psyches, allowed this. They believed the prophecy of a teen queen to come. Appearance-wise, she is a sweet, girl next door type. She is however, the personification of a zeitgeist and her amazing ability has some of her peers under an admiration spell. Most likely to treat a world title like pearls to string.
