JettyGirl: Any New Year's resolutions for 2008?
Mary Bagalso: I want to reduce my carbon footprint...I don't know all the ways how to but I think it is necessary. I want to learn more about the little things I can do to improve our environment ...Mother nature has been pissed way to much these days ...I can't buy a new eco car, but I can watch how I do things.

I also want to read more about things outside of anesthesia. This will be hard but we will see.

I want to surf more...but that is selfish! Use time more efficiently in school and life to become even more productive for the future. I also want to try to be better about contacting old friends ...anesthesia school makes me a hermit.

JG: If you were to donate time or money to a charitable organization or cause in 2008, what would it be and why?
MB: I would donate more money or time to JettyGirl (if I had any) because it is women's surfing with a grassroots view ...nothing with a skewed point of view ..it is important to me because it has given me much joy in my life.

As for charity ...I want to give to education and research...in nursing and breast cancer.

JG: Judging on any category you find relevant, name five female surfers to watch for in 2008 and why.
MB: I have not been watching, but I think that if we put a bra on you and my friend Shane..you guys would kick some arse!!!! AHAHHAA!!!! Truthfully, I have been so impressed with the level of surfing at the harbor ....I think that all the girls rip.
