Any New Year's resolutions for 2008?
Chanelle Sladics: More laughs, more joy!
JG: If you were to donate time or money to a charitable organization or cause in 2008, what would it be and why?
CS: I am going to be working with the Anthony
Robbins Foundation, and want to do some stuff with Habitat
for Humanity.
JG: Judging
on any category you find relevant, name five female surfers
to watch for in 2008 and why.
CS: Coco Ho, the girl is growing up quick with some mean style,
and Hawaiian power. Jen Smith with her neat style, technical
goodies on the long board, but also look for her slashes on
her short board too! Kassia Meador, training like a machine,
ready to take on the world with serious grace and style! Claire
Bevilacqua always catching the boys' attention, with her amazing
airs, powerful style, and hunger for good waves this year.
Watch for Sofia Mulanovich, this lady is looking for world
title redemption ...she's an amazing athlete, and amazing
soul. Lastly, Stephanie Gilmore, she's an obvious, her great
attitude and flawless effort makes her the standard to beat...well
done Steph!
