JettyGirl:
Any New Year's resolutions for 2008?
Sunshine Makarow: I've never been into New Year's resolutions
...so no.
JG: If you were to donate time or money to a charitable organization or cause in 2008, what would it be and why?
SM: The Helen
Woodward Animal Center's Surf Dog Surf-a-Thon...it's a
really great event held in September in Dog Beach, Del Mar.
The Woodward Center has a wide range of great programs to
benefit animals and humans, this event is a fundraiser for
the center. Watching the dogs surf, and the doggie fashion
show is a blast.
JG: Judging on any category you find relevant, name five female surfers to watch for in 2008 and why.
SM: Steph Gilmore, she kills it and she took the title her
rookie year, just insane. Karina Petroni, I'm excited to watch
her on the WCT next year. Sofia Mulanovich, she is such a
great surfer and person, and always a title contender. Izzy
Tihanyi, Surf Diva just keeps blowing up, they are launching
a camp in Australia this year.
