Any New Year's resolutions for 2008?
Anastasia Ashley: To try and travel as much as possible to
really good waves!
JG: If you were to donate time or money to a charitable organization or cause in 2008, what would it be and why?
AA: Probably anything that has to do with children and hunger,
there are a lot of countries that don't have food right now
in the world.
JG: Judging on any category you find relevant, name five female surfers to watch for in 2008 and why.
AA: Christa Alves, great free surfer. Has one of the best
personalities and gets me amped to get out in the water. Coco
Ho, one of the best styles, and has a great support system.
Bethany Hamilton, very inspirational and has a great style.
Kyla Langen, great style, good in contests, looking to see
her get on the WCT sooner than later. Holly Beck, always looking
and traveling for great waves.
