JettyGirl:
Any New Year's resolutions for 2008?
Kassia Meador: My New Year's resolution for 2008 is to live
life to the fullest every day and surf my booty off.
JG: If you were to donate time or money to a charitable organization or cause in 2008, what would it be and why?
KM: I always do a lot of work with Keep
A Breast, they raise money for breast cancer research.
But any time I hear about a good charity I can help out with
I try to do whatever I can whether it be lend my time or some
money.
JG: Judging on any category you find relevant, name five female surfers to watch for in 2008 and why.
KM: Stephanie Gilmore ...enough said. Sally Fitzbibbons ...she's
young, determined and if you have ever seen her surf you know
why. Rochelle Ballard ...now that she has retired from the
tour I think we are going to see a lot more crazy surfing
from her because she now has the freedom to spread her wings.
Silvana Lima ...she kills it and is very innovative. I think
she is helping push surfing into the future. Sofia Mulanovich
...she was so close to another title this year, I think it
would have just made her motivated to take it this next year.
