Any New Year's resolutions for 2008?
Marii Sugiura-Bakker: Natural nursery, breast feeding, cloth
diapers, etc... I'm 37 weeks pregnant! My due date is the
17th of January.
JG: If you were to donate time or money to a charitable organization or cause in 2008, what would it be and why?
MS: Japan is losing some beautiful beaches every year by encroachment.
My old roommate, Kiyoko Shibamoto, started up a group of surfers
who protect the beautiful beaches in Japan. They are requesting
that the Japanese government stop building so many jetties.
I'd like to help them.
JG: Judging on any category you find relevant, name five female surfers to watch for in 2008 and why.
MS: Erina Taniguchi, Kaori Mayaguchi, Mizuki Hagiwara, Sayuri
Hashimoto. Top 4 Japanese surfer girls who are focusing on
WQS in 2008.
