Any New Year's resolutions for 2008?
Leilani Gryde: To spend more time at home with my friends.
JG: If you were to donate time or money to a charitable organization or cause in 2008, what would it be and why?
LG: I wanna do the "adopt a highway" stuff in Kona.
My friends at home do it. It's just a good way to keep the
land beautiful and not looking dirty with rubbish floating
around.
JG: Judging on any category you find relevant, name five female surfers to watch for in 2008 and why.
LG: Steph Gilmore, uhhh world champ duhhh. Coco Ho, watch
and you'll see. Sage Erickson, she surfs so good! Clean style
and she's just a real fun person to be around...real good
attitude. Sally Fitzgibbons, she's a little contest machine.
She knows what to do to get results. Tyler Wright, I've only
seen her surf a few times. I think she's only 13 and I was
just blown away...real nice style and just a super mature
little health freak grom.
