JettyGirl:
Any New Year's resolutions for 2008?
Amee Donohoe: Avoid tequila.
JG: If you were to donate time or money to a charitable organization or cause in 2008, what would it be and why?
AD: DFA Drug Fee Australia.
I feel that there is not enough information about the side
effects drugs can have on your body physically and mentally.
I also think it's become acceptable to be a user of party
drugs and a certain amount of high profile athletes, musicians,
actors, etc. are setting these examples. I would like the
youth of today to see professional people setting a positive
healthy drug-free image. Life can be full of rock and roll
without the cocaine.
JG: Judging on any category you find relevant, name five female surfers to watch for in 2008 and why.
AD: Coco Ho, she is a super approachable, unpretentious cool
cat grom that rips. Nikita Robb, underground Saffa with a
solid backhand, I'd bank on her making the WCT soon. Sally
Fitzgibbons, calculated grom with a huge future. Courtney
Conlogue, I have only seen her surf once, this year at the
US open and she just blew up, very impressive. Kristy Delport,
true grom (from SA), smart arse from way back, she just cracks
me up.
