2018 Jettygirl Swimwear Guide
What began life as a personal blog while working on a surfari charter boat in the Maldives in 2012, Salt Gypsy® has evolved into a surf lifestyle brand that celebrates female surf athleticism, diversity and style in the lineup. Revolutionising the “modern obsession” with surf leggings, Salt Gypsy encourages women to define their own style in the lineup: to look rad, feel rad, and surf better.
Building the kind of women’s company they simply wish existed, Salt Gypsy is passionately invested in using sustainable fabrics (ECONYL® regenerated nylon yarn made from discarded fishing nets and other plastic debris found in the ocean), ethical production, plant-based biodegradable & compostable packaging, and is now officially the world’s first women’s surf company to be R-Certified, having offset the energy consumption of all it’s 2016 and 2017 production.
The New Zealand-born creator of the original bespoke surf legging and founder, Danielle Clayton, currently runs Salt Gypsy from Byron Bay, Australia (and wherever the surf is pumping). Find Salt Gypsy at www.saltgypsy.com and contact the team at email@example.com.

#Repost from our grom-mate @rengregs… “I first met @saltgypsy 6 years ago when she was working on a boat charter in the Maldives. Dani gave me a different outlook towards womens surfing. Without saying it, she taught me that we should be uplifting the woman around us instead of feeling the need to compete with them. In both in and out of the water. Just starting out her own little business, I roadtested one of @saltgypsy surf leggings which protected me from the sun surfing through Indonesia. Today, I still get to wear rad surf wear that is eco friendly, celebrating the diversity and athleticism of women’s surfing. I have also recently met one of the best people I know, my roommate and coffee partner @brebsy . If not surfing, she’s smiling behind the lens. Always capturing the moment and mood surrounded with the best elements. Not long after we met we both shared Similar stories about Dani and how she inspired us in different ways. So here is one shot that was taken on sunset. The surf was small, the sun was beaming and we couldn’t wipe the smile of our face.. just because.” #saltgypsy #womensupportingwomen #womenwhosurf #sustainablesurf
