(October 29, 2012) – Network A, the online action sports channel, and 8 Side Productions today announce the launch of “Alana: Surfer Girl,” a new reality series starring Alana Blanchard, the Kauai-based pro surfer and model.
The series, which premieres today, features Alana and surfers Leila Hurst and Camille Brady as they surf and explore Kauai, the fourth largest of the Hawai’ian Islands. Alana says, “I’m so excited at the opportunity to share my life in Kauai, especially with my best friends in tow. We had so much of fun filming, I hope everyone enjoys watching!”
The first episode introduces the girls and their friendship and is interspersed with visually stunning shots of the girls swimming with sea turtles, jumping from 100-foot cliffs into the ocean, and of course quality surf action.
